Accessibility

Goldust is located on the second floor; the building has a large freight elevator. Select "elevator" while booking your appointment and enter through the yellow door off of the parking lot. Your stylist will meet you and take you up to the second floor.

COVID policies

We get close during a hair appointment. With our license, we are able to touch people but we’re also trained in sanitation and disinfecting. We will be following the CDC guidelines but have also adopted a few extra to help keep everyone as safe as possible.

Please reschedule your appointment if you have any of the symptoms below:

Fever above 100.4 degrees
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Dry cough
Fatigue, shakiness, or chills
Muscle pain
Headache
Sore throat
Loss of taste and/or sense of smell
Hand wipes, hand sanitizer, and other sanitation items will be available at all times throughout the studio.

Cancellation policies

Please provide at least a forty-eight (48) hour notice prior to canceling or changing an appointment.

First cancellation — Credit card will be charged at 50% of total salon services booked.
Second cancellation — Credit card will be charged at 100% of total salon services booked.
No call, no show - Credit card will be charged 100% of the total salon services booked.
Unpaid Balances: All cancellation fees must be paid in full before scheduling any future appointments.

*If you cancel less than 48 hours before your appointment due to an emergency or contagious illness. Please text us at 312.444.0595. You will be charged 50% of total salon services and credited to your next appointment with the same service provider only. Credits last 12 months.

Late Policy

‍We have a grace period of 15 minutes for the client and the stylist. If you're more than 15 minutes late to your appointment it will count as a cancellation.

Sanitation

All high-touch surfaces will be sanitized in between all clients. All tools have been sanitized in Barbicide, towels are washed in hot water and placed in sealed bins, and gloves will be worn for chemical services. We have also installed a clean air filter with eHEPA technology.

Modifications to services

Come as you wear your hair usually air-dried, or styled if you wear it straight. Please have cleanish hair, washed recently.

If you are not 100% satisfied with your hair, we will be more than happy to make adjustments within 7 days of your appointment. Please reach out to us 312.444.0595 to set up a follow up appointment.

Important Note: If you prefer to see a different stylist, have done any treatments to your own hair, or have visited another salon after 7 days from the initial service, full-service charges will apply for any adjustments. All sales are final.

Entering the studio

Enter through the yellow door to the left of the parking lot. Hit 206 + the green phone button, or scroll through to Goldust Studios and hit the green button. We will ask "Who is it?" Please let us know who you're here to see. Walk through both doors before the buzzer stops and goup the first flight of stairs. Turn left on the 2nd floor. Come right in! Please wash your hands when you arrive. You can hang out on the couch or the terrazzo island until your stylist is ready for you!

Food and drinks

Food and Drinks: The terrazzo, couch and coffee/tea are open! Feel free to eat and drink while at the terrazzo or in your stylist's chair.

Contactless check-out

Our booking system allows you to check yourself out after your services are complete.

Quiet chair

Life is nuts. Select quiet chair while booking your appointment for no questions asked after your consultation.
